My story
(the parts that are fit to print)

I have always had a strong intrest in cars, I started out building plastic car models at the age of 2, helped Dad rebuild a Barracuda convertible for Mom at age 5. My Parents still say my first words where "look at that f*&#@in hot rod !!!".
I patched together old cars and trucks for a number of years for my own transportation.
Then I enlisted and became a helicopter mechanic for Uncle Sam.
I spent a few years working on excavation and agricultural equipment. Then I did some time on the assembly lines, mainly upgrading Chrysler products for export to Europe and putting together Mustang convertibles.
In between the ever looming layoffs involved with the auto industry I worked as a fabricator for a company that built stainless steel conveyors and container handling equipment. I also spent a number of years building custom cars and Harley Davidsons.
While I was going to college I did auto restoration work, built and installed sleepers on semi trucks, and worked as a tire Technician(Read grunt) at a local tire chain. After getting my associates degree in applied science I landed a job as an auto designer. I worked for G.M. doing design work mainly on the Cadillac brand and later on GM trucks. I was layed off Jan.16, 2004 and presently looking for work as a Mechanical / Automotive Designer.
